I'm Chad Diaz. Before I wrote a line of code, I spent nearly two decades running retail operations — managing high-volume stores, building teams, and eventually serving as Operations Director of a family business whose revenue more than doubled while I was there. I know what it means when a process breaks at 8 a.m. on a Saturday.
Then I retrained as a software developer and found the work I was built for: helping businesses adopt AI. At a software agency I trained teams, ran workshops, and built the automations behind them — real systems, in production, used every day.
DAI Consulting is that work under my own flag. The name is simple: D for Diaz, AI for what I do.
I work primarily with Anthropic's Claude® — in my experience the most capable and careful model family for business work — and I'll tell you when you don't need AI at all. Some problems are a spreadsheet fix, a process change, or a good hire. You'll hear that from me too.
